family tours - laghel valley

DIFFICULTY:

TIPS:Den Helm stets gut festgezogen und jede Menge Lust sich zu amüsieren..

Laghel is the isolated and peaceful valley just behind the town of Arco, immersed in the lush green of olive trees and woods.
This area is so quiet you will even find a Buddhist meditation centre! To get to this valley we first take the bicycle lane, then a little steeper country road through olive trees part of it on asphalt and part on dirt.
Some rest might be needed: the beautiful scenery will be a great reward for the effort! The downhill part is on a fast single trail in the woods. At the exit of the woods the Roman bridge of Ceniga greets us.
The last part of the way back is accompanied by the sound of the Sarca River flowing next to us. At this point we “conquer” the Castle of Arco and have a refreshing stop in the town’s centre for an excellent ice cream.
