This tour will let you discover the Mediterranean Scrub brushed by Lake Garda’s winds.
We leave the plain in Arco and start our ascent, enjoying new views and perspectives of its castle.
We will start coasting the cliffs, speckled by multicoloured trains of rock climbers. This bustling activity contrasts with the silence of the tunnels in an abandoned quarry: its halls are enriched by enormous rocky pillars and the whole place resembles a cathedral.
The sacredness of this place is underlined by two other things: the prehistoric graffiti left on the rocks and the centuries old chestnut trees. We will enter this quiet and awe-inspiring forest and admire the huge trunks, before arriving in sight of Drena and its castle. We now descend towards Lake Cavedine surrounded by the white rocks of the Marocche and carry on until we meet the Sarca River. Following it downstream will lead us back to Lake Garda.
